Yes, however we only service mobile homes for waterproofing needs in a crawlspace or exterior drainage related issues if the mobile home is sitting on a full block or concrete foundation wall all around. There must not be any “skirting”. We do not service mobile homes for structural issues.
We do not do new pour concrete sidewalks or driveways or patios. We do, however, take up concrete and repour concrete to install exterior drainage systems such as a driveway or patio drain or a buried downspout extension. We can also lift and level a driveway or sidewalk using polyurethane foam. Additionally, we do concrete crack repairs for driveways as well as new expansion joint installations.
No. Waterproofing paint is sometimes helpful for a new building. While considered helpful in a new build application, waterproofing paint does not protect your cold joint (where your basement wall meets the footer). Because waterproofing paint does not protect against the cold joint from geological hydrostatic pressure, it is not considered a long-term or permanent remedy.
We can replace gutter downspouts and bury and extend underground gutter discharge system plus a slow leak pot. At this time, we partner with another business to do new gutters around the whole house. No. Filling cracks with caulking or mortar is sometimes helpful for a new building. This method is referred to tuckpointing and is a cosmetic fix- not considered a waterproofing or structural fix by engineers. While considered helpful in a new build application, tuckpointing does not protect your cold joint (where your basement wall meets the footer). Tuckpointing is not considered a long-term or permanent remedy because it does not protect the cold joint from geological hydrostatic pressure.

No. We do not fix porches. The term porch and stoop are often used interchangeably. A stoop is typically smaller than six feet by six feet and is considered a landing. Stoops are typically one concrete cast. A porch would be anything larger. We can fix stoop landings that are one level with no stairs that are no larger than sixteen inches tall by using polyurethane fill with a special pressurized gun from a large truck machine. Anything larger than that we typically recommend a full replacement be done by another business. We can however provide demolition services for porches and stoops.
We can and have in the past, provided retaining wall solutions. We only use sixteen by eight-inch beveled retaining wall blocks. Thea stones are larger blocks and weigh seventy-two pounds each. We do not provide small retaining walls or landscaping. We only do large residential retaining wall applications for hardscaping or small commercial applications with larger block. We also install wall tie back systems which allow us to stabilize a failing block or poured wall. We can use these tieback systems on exterior block or poured retaining walls, basement walls that are failing or cracking as well as the backs of garages that may be bowing outward on the back of the house.
No. We do not remove old beams. It is considered a safety hazard for our workers. When fixing the structure of a post and beam or crawl space foundation, there are many things to consider. In general, removing any type of support is not considered wise. If it is original to the home, chances are, especially on a main support beam, that the beam is tied into the joist pockets. Total removal can end with an undesirable result. Instead, we recommend supporting the current beam with new steel jacks or transferring the load to a new steel beam next to the old wooden one. We have extensive foundation recovery options and would be happy to provide a free on-site consultation. A sump pump is a storm water collection mechanical cast iron pump that collects water from under a basement slab or from the earth in the crawlspace and re-directs it out away from the house. For the discharge, we run schedule 40 pressurized PVC pipe with glued fittings out through the rim joist of the house. Each pump has head pressure specifications and allowances for how a discharge is designed. We always use an anti-freeze unit (aka aerator) to provide a place for the water to escape in the event the underground line freezes so that the water does not back up into the crawl or basement. We also burry and extend each discharge ten feet to get the water out away from the active hydrostatic pressure zone of the loose back fill soil. The industry standard here is a ten-foot extension with a slow leak pot out the end to help dissipate some of the water. In heavy rainfall, the storm water will overflow at the end of this discharge into the yard away from the house.
